We are pleased to announce that Nicolas Uncaged will return in 2022. After a year absence, we will be emerging as a masked formal/costumed Gala in partnership with Cinema Detroit at the Historic Senate Theater in Southwest Detroit. This year we will be screening ADAPTATION and MANDY.
More details to come, however, our goal is to create an awards gala environment honoring our one true god, Cage, as well as raise funds for two amazing local businesses--Cinema Detroit and the Senate. As always, alcoholic beverages and merch will be available. We already have several ridiculous ideas on pace with previous years.
It is our goal to make this event as Covid safe as possible. Importantly, the Senate Theater is a significantly larger venue (700+ seats) which we will be limiting tickets to allow some room to space out. Additionally, our partnership requires PROOF OF VACCINATION at the door. (This is not intended to stir a political or philosophical debate)
*The Senate has plenty of on-site gated parking.
